Meet The Cast

  • A drawing of a grey magicat overlays a photo of a smiling non-binary person holding an orange cat. They're wearing a red button-down shirt and tortoise-shell glasses. They have shoulder length brown and blue hair, a beard, and three silver earrings.

    Nick

    (They/Them)
Nick is the Game Master of the current adventure- the general story-writer and arbiter of rules. They’ve been running games in Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, and various Powered by the Apocalypse systems for close to 20 years, using a liberal application of The Rule of Cool.

The cat, Desmond, is the inspiration for (and an inspiration to) Magicats everywhere.

  • A drawing of a blonde satyr woman overlays a photo of a smiling nonbinary person. They're wearing a grey shirt, a gold necklace, and earrings that say "FUCK". They have hazel eyes and long brown hair with blonde highlights.

    Onna

    (They/Them)
Onna plays Daphne Cinderhoof, The Faun Arsonist.

Video game obsessed since finding Septerra Core at the ripe at of 9, Onna is a massive RPG and anime nerd.

They currently work in healthcare, though they used to be a full time agency model and cosplayer. Currently (and happily) stuck in Baldur’s Gate 3 hell with no end in sight. They spend most of their free time with their partners and their ever loyal Corgi co-pilot, Reggie.

P.S. They might also be a former foot model, and no, they won’t elaborate.

  • A drawing of a red-haired man overlays a photo of a man wearing a tweed jacket, a beige vest, a striped shirt and a silk green tie. He's wearing a newsboy cap and glasses and has a brown beard. The background is a ridiculous explosion.

    Benny

    (He/Him)
Benny plays Iimish Aemon Hornygold, The Quarter-Leprechaun Olympian.

Benny was born born at the ripe, bold age of 80 and began life as a videostore clerk, an archaic profession swallowed by time. Later, he became a wandering hippie that could put out street lights with an idle touch of his hand.

But always… the theater called to him. He is a 3 Star Thespian General who performed in Rocky Horror with the Sexplosion cast and spent many years with the improv troupe The World’s Biggest Comedy Duo.

Gaming has been an integral part of his life since he began running D&D during lunch and recess in 3rd grade.

He’s settled in California with his wife of 10 years and their three dogs: Gambit, the mighty mini-mutt, and Domino and Banshee, his obnoxious, husky sisters.

  • A drawing of a dwarf with a cigar overlays a photo of a man wearing a red jacket and sunglasses on his head. A generic anime face covers his face to protect his privacy.

    Dean

    (He/Him)
Dean plays Rosmontis “Rosmo” Kilcarion, The Dwarf Turncloak.

Video games and anime have eroded his intellect. Now a mental construct of nerd references, his remaining power has been repurposed for the benefit of mankind. Or at least this podcast.
He currently work as an engineer in the Midwest. He spend most of their time online, pursuing hobbies, or finding a nice place to drink an ale.

  • A drawing of a gatorborn wearing a shell necklace and a Hawaiian shirt. He's holding a spear and has a pipe with a magical flame spirit popping out of the bowl. The spirit has a cute smile and is blushing.

    Mike

    (He/Him)
Mike Sayre plays Taku, The Gatorborn Shaman. Mike is a writer and game designer, working primarily on tabletop RPGs, most notably both editions of Pathfinder. You can find him on Bluesky at animistgunslinger.bsky.social.

He’s so god damn good at this.

  • A drawing of a bunnyfolk woman wearing a cowboy hat and carrying a gun overlays a photo of a pink haired woman holding a corgi. She's wearing green glasses and standing in front of a cherry blossom tree. Most of her face is covered by the dog.

    Alice

    (She/Her)

Alice is High INT Low WIS’s editor, producer, and plays Lorelei Nyx, The Bunnyfolk Slayer.

She's been deep in TTRPG hell since Baldur's Gate 1 permanently altered her brain chemistry 25 years ago, and now she's making it everyone else's problem.

She shares two cats and a dog with Nick: Desmond Alistair von Snugglepants, God-Grace-Himb-to-be-Forklift-Certified, and Commodore Pooch Woofington III.
